Lago in house pop up store in Milan Funiture Fair If you weren't able to walk around the Zona Tortona last week, check out this tour of the Lago Appartamento with artist Diego Paccagnella. Not only were all the Lago designs on display, but they were in use as well--a concept sure to be imitated at many festivals to come. Lago also promoted work by some Royal College of Art students. The Appartamento will be open for the next couple months, you may need to schedule an appointment, but it is well worth it.

Design and create a level with Little Big Planet, collaborating with Sony Entertainment UK Little Big Planet (LBP) on first inspection is a platform game like many that have preceded it, albeit a very charming and compelling one. However LBP provides unique opportunity for player invention and creativity. Players have the power to design, shape and build both objects and entire locations using recognisable materials and utilising realistic physics. The game has encouraged a huge social community, where players can publish and play each other’s creations online. Design and create a level with Little Big Planet (LBP). Your levels may be as large or as small as you see necessary. They may provide a narrative, or take the form of an experiment, intervention, fantasy scenario, or open social environment. The level you design should reflect a thorough research process that investigates and critically analyses the culture and community surrounding LBP and gaming in general. This may include research into, the ethics of virtual communities, issues regarding virtual identity, and the implications of user generated gaming content.
